Pipings are made of a narrow strip of fabric, cut diagonally, which "hugs" a string along its length and is stitched, as shown in the banner to the left. It is possible to make either single or double lace, and choose from a wide variety of fabrics such as cotton 100%, polycotton (35% cotton / 65% polyester), satin acetate, satin polyester, leatherette and lurex. We have the ability to manufacture pipings in various widths (10mm - 18mm), and various sizes (2mm-6mm) and types (cotton 100% or polyester) of stings, depending on your preferences. Cords are used to add color or texture to the product or to give a perfect finish to its edges, as well as to add extra strength, stability and support due to the string. They can be easily sewn by hand or machine and are a common technique used in the fashion, home decor, mattress industries etc.
